Returns & Refunds Policy

Your Rights: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days, even if you have simply changed your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), physically receives the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform me of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. a letter or email). You may use the model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the cancellation period has expired.
2. Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel your order:
- I will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (if you chose a more expensive delivery option, I will only refund the cost of the cheapest standard delivery).
- I will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day I receive the goods back, or you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.
- I will reimburse you using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction.
Return shipping costs: You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Please use a tracked delivery service as I am not responsible for items lost in return transit.
You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation. I may withhold reimbursement if the goods show evidence of use or handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (a deduction for diminished value may apply).

4. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described:
- Within 30 days of delivery: You are entitled to a full refund (short-term right to reject). This is your choice, not mine.
- After 30 days but within 6 months: I must attempt a repair or replacement. If the repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you are entitled to a full refund.
- After 6 months: You must prove the goods were faulty at the time of delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible with photographs. Please retain all packaging as it may be needed for a carrier claim. I will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or misdescribed goods.
5. How to Return
- Email returns@lawnware.uk with your order number and reason for return, or use the cancellation form above.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage in transit.
- Use a tracked delivery service (I am not responsible for items lost in return transit).
- Keep proof of postage until your refund has been confirmed.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return postage.
- Refunds for faulty goods will be processed as soon as practicable after inspection.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
7. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (custom orders).
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, where they have been unsealed after delivery.
8. Handmade Variations
Important: All pottery is handmade. Slight variations in colour, size, glaze, and pattern are inherent to handmade ceramics and are not considered defects. Product photographs are representative; your item may vary slightly. This does not affect your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
9. Exchanges
I do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item, please return it under the cancellation procedure above and place a new order.
