1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lizzy's Homemade Pottery website and your purchase of products from me. By using my website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Products

• All products are handmade and may have slight variations in colour, size, and pattern — this is part of their unique charm and is not a defect.
• Product images are for illustration purposes; actual items may vary slightly from the photographs.
• All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and are the total price payable. As I am not VAT-registered, no VAT is included or charged.
• Prices may be updated from time to time but any changes will not affect orders already accepted.

4. Ordering

• By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.
• Your order is accepted when I send a confirmation email — at that point a legally binding contract is formed.
• I reserve the right to refuse any order (for example, if items are out of stock).
• Orders are subject to availability.

5. Payment

• I accept payment via credit and debit cards, processed securely by Stripe.
• Payment is taken at the time of order.
• All prices are in British Pounds (GBP).

6. Delivery

Please see the Delivery Information page for full details on shipping methods, times and costs. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them (Consumer Rights Act 2015 s.29).

7. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform me by a clear statement (for example, an email to returns@lawnware.uk). You may use the model cancellation form on my returns page.

Key details:

• You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to me.
• I will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
• I may deduct an amount from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
• Custom or personalised items are excluded from the right to cancel.

8. Your Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to receive goods that are:

• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for purpose
• As described

If goods are faulty or not as described:

• Within 30 days: You have a short-term right to reject the goods for a full refund.
• After 30 days but within 6 months: You are entitled to a repair or replacement. If unsuccessful, you may request a refund.
• After 6 months: The burden is on you to prove the goods were faulty at the time of delivery.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

9. Limitation of Liability

• My liability is limited to the purchase price of the products ordered.
• I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, and designs, is owned by Lizzy's Homemade Pottery and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or use my content without permission.

11. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be 18 or over to create an account and make purchases.
• I reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with your purchase or my service, please contact me first so I can try to resolve the matter. If we are unable to reach a resolution, you may wish to consider using an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. I am not obliged to use an ADR scheme but will consider doing so on a case-by-case basis.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.

15. Changes to Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
